Damn, that kujaku & rasengan combo was absolutly epic, this may be filler but damn, this was great

Dare I say it was one of te best moments in the show. Not the best, that moment goes (for me at least) to the battle between Sauce Gay and Naruto, in the Sasuke rescue mission.

seriously, Naruto is supposed to be the dumb one, but sasuke is just plain brainless...

1- he's already witnessed that Orochimaru's special powers and training suck. a group of GENIN defeated the sound 5, the sound nations elite Jonin... those curse marks obviously don't provide enough power.

2-what sasuke learns from Orochimaru is snake summoning and second-rate sword techniques... Kakashi was far better suited to training him, and there's Kakashi's girlfriend, Yugao who was Hayate Ghekko's training partner and equal... (the purple haired female anbu) anything kakashi himself couldn't teach sasuke with the sword, she could... Orochimaru's not a sword specialist, and certainly doesn't have their level of mastery... and honestly, Snake summonning isn't unique to Orochimaru, as like toad summoning, Sasuke is the 7th to sign the contract with Ryuchi Cave's snakes. and Anko could have summonned the scroll bearing snake as she's the 6th to sign that scroll. (orochimaru was 4th and who knows who the 5th was)

3-Orochimaru himself hates Itachi because Itachi is so much stronger than he is...

4- the curse mark comes with a heavy price, while there are other seals within the hidden leaf that can siphon and store excess chakra during day to day use and then be tapped into, like Tsunade/Sakuras technique.... but there's a few other similar jutsu in the hidden leaf.

Honestly, sasuke going to orochimaru crippled his growth, and as soon as he left, he guarunteed he would never surpass Naruto.

For once failing the mission especially like that was the right thing to do

Neji, Lee, and Tenten were useless here.

Taking a bit of the star power slowly kills you but taking all of its power at once makes you stronger?? I mean wth
And is ghosts a common thing in this show now?

Ya but they also said it will slowly kill you because human body can't handle that much power you know taking bit by bit is still too much then taking it all in once shouldn't that idk insta kill with all chakra lines whatever they are blowing up inside from the pressure?

I mean it sounded like he was in pain, I just assumed it was the classic trope of the sacrificing your health/life in exchange for power

About sacrificing life / health for power, so in a way a little similar to opening the 8th 1 of the 8 chackra gates or using dragon ball z's kaioken
